There has been a St. Paul's School in Addlestone for more than 150 years.
This school was started
in 1841 with 67 boys and 60 girls, and enlarged in 1851. The small semi-detached
cottages in front were for the schoolmaster and schoolmistress. All are now
demolished and St. Paul's Close is on the site. - excerpt from the

This page will attempt to chronicle the schools development over that time
and will wherever possible provide photographs and insights from local people.
We invite you to share your past experiences of the school, either as a past
children, parent or indeed teacher or helper.
OUR
AIMS
1. To build on our Christian foundation by fostering an atmosphere of mutual
respect where the children can develop a sense of responsibility to
themselves, their family, the school and the local community and in which
their moral and spiritual needs are met
2. To strive for excellence and to create a caring and stimulating
environment in which children of all abilities can achieve their full
potential - academically, personally and socially.
3. To ensure that all children have equal opportunities for the development
of knowledge, concepts, skills and attitudes, so that they are well prepared
for subsequent stages of education, adult life and employment in a
fast-changing technological world.
