"We take great pride in aiding all of our children to achieve their potential, experiencing a rich and diverse curriculum and a wide range of development opportunities." - St Paul's Governing Body

Louise Johnson, Executive Head

I have been the head of St Paul's since September 2013, having worked at the school since 2006 as a class teacher and then Deputy Head. I live locally and both my children attended the school. I feel privileged to lead a school with such dedicated and enthusiastic staff, and am passionate about providing high quality learning experiences and outcomes for all pupils. Within the Governing Body I am responsible for ensuring that the vision and aims for the strategic direction of the school are realised and lead to the best possible education for our wonderful children.

Faith Axten (Chair)

My name is Faith Axten, and although originally from the North East I have lived in Addlestone near to St Paul's School for nearly thirty years. I have four grandchildren of primary school age, two English and two French, and so  first class primary education is very important to me.  I am a member of St Paul's church and was a teacher for 35 years, now enjoying retirement. My chief interests are reading, gardening and the Fairtrade movement and I naturally spend some time in France with my family.

Andy Bacon

My name is Andy Bacon and I am a parent Governor. I have lived in Addlestone for the last 4 years but have lived and worked in the area for the last 18 years, I have 2 children, my son is currently in year 2 at St Pauls and my daughter is starting pre-school in 2020. For the last 18 years I have worked in the IT Department for Defra, and am based at the Animal Plant and Health Agency in New Haw. I also attend Equippers Church in Chertsey. In my spare time I am a part of committee that organises and runs the Midsummers Event, in New Haw, I also enjoy going to the cinema and in the winter months I work at the airport clearing the snow from the runways.

Ben Beecroft

I have been a Foundation Governor at St Paul’s for the past 8 years since moving to Addlestone as Vicar, in addition to being a Governor in my previous parish of Warfield in Berkshire. Father to 3 girls, my youngest Becky is presently in Year 6 at St Paul’s. I am committed to holistic education in which the emotional and spiritual needs of children are valued and met in addition of course to academic development, and where success is measured in character as well as in SATS. I think a child’s school years have the potential to be some of the happiest years of their life. It is a privilege to serve with such a dedicated team of staff and governors that we have at St Pauls. As Vicar I am excited by all that St Pauls Church and School contributes to the life of our wider community.
